How do I sell my car to Direct Auto?+
Start online — enter your registration and we'll pull up your car's details automatically, or fill them in yourself, add a few photos, and submit. Do I need a roadworthy certificate (RWC) to sell my car in Victoria?+
To transfer a registered vehicle to a new owner in Victoria you generally need a current roadworthy certificate, but you don't need one just to get an offer from us. Tell us your car's RWC status in the form and we'll factor it in — we can talk you through the options.
Can I sell my car if I still have finance owing on it?+
Yes. Plenty of the cars we buy still have finance owing. Just note the amount owing when you submit your details and we'll work through paying out the balance as part of the sale, so the transfer is clean and simple.
How do you decide what my car is worth?+
We look at the make, model, year, condition, kilometres, service history and current market demand. You can nominate the price you're hoping for, or ask us to suggest a fair figure — either way there's no obligation to go ahead.
How quickly will I hear back after I submit my car?+

Are your used cars inspected before they're sold?+
Yes. Every car on our floor is mechanically and safety inspected and honestly described before it's listed. If a car has a story, you'll hear it before you buy.

Absolutely. You're welcome to visit us at Level 5, Suite 2, 697 Camberwell Road, Camberwell VIC 3124 during opening hours (Mon–Fri 9am–5:30pm, Sat 9am–1pm), or send an enquiry about any listing and we'll arrange a time that suits you.
